Wow! I am trying to be better about this blogging thing and I swear I will work on it. So me and the BF have a new house. Great lot, great pool, and a great homage to the seventies- we are talking Boogie Nights here. Wood paneling, wallpaper- everywhere, and more wood paneling. In the 3 weeks since we have had our keys so much has been done: The back two bedrooms, soon to be our temporary living quarters, have been remodeled. No more stinky carpet or the aforementioned wood paneling. Holes in the wall repaired, texture applied, and new paint rolled and sprayed on. All baseboards were removed and replaced along with doors, handles, and door trim. The bathroom is devoid of wallpaper, ceiling tiles, and toilet. And covered in primer. The rot in the ceiling has been repaired and the room awaits paint. Much better than the stink room covered in butterfly wallpaper. Once the paint is on and the shower cleaned we should be in business- at least until we gut that room too! The photos above are of the master bathroom- Before and After. As we speak the BF and his brother are mapping out plans for the new master bath.
This whole experience is pretty crazy- but when its done... pool party at my house. And did I mention I will finally have my own craft room. Sewing and knitting in a room just for me!
